Passing the baton in management

Frankfurt am Main, January 12, 2026

Frankfurt-based agency NewMark Communications, which specializes in financial communications, is undergoing a generational change at the top of the company. Marc Savani will join the management of NewMark Finanzkommunikation GmbH as managing partner on February 1, 2026, and will lead the agency together with Andreas Glänzel, who has represented NewMark as managing partner since 2001. Founder and principal shareholder Hubertus Väth is stepping down from the agency’s management and will continue to support selected NewMark clients as senior advisor.

Hubertus Väth says:

“With the introduction of the partner model three years ago, we initiated a generational change at NewMark and thus laid the foundation for a smooth internal succession solution. Marc enjoys a high level of trust among clients, employees, and the community—the foundation for successfully leading the agency and the team into the next phase together with Andreas Glänzel.”

Marc Savani says:

“I am very much looking forward to the new and exciting task of shaping the future of NewMark Communications. Hubertus has made NewMark an agile and credible player in financial communications and a fixture in the agency landscape. Together with the team, we will seize the opportunities that arise and remain true to NewMark’s motto of ‘setting new marks.”

Andreas Jaensch, Marc Savani, and Ralf Witzler have been partners in the company since February 2023 and are members of the management team. Marc Savani joined NewMark in April 2021 from Allianz Global Investors. He advises clients, particularly in the asset management sector, on strategic positioning and day-to-day PR work. The communications expert gained experience in internal and external communications in the financial sector on the corporate side.

Dr. Andreas Jaensch has been part of the NewMark team since 2007 and has a wealth of experience in press relations, corporate publishing in print and audiovisual media, and strategy consulting. The certified ESG analyst (CESGA®) is responsible for sustainability communications at NewMark.

Dr. Ralf Witzler worked for many years as a financial and business journalist for magazines, daily newspapers, and a news agency, and was involved in strategic communications at the Deutsche Welle Academy. In his nine years at NewMark, he has managed mandates for banks and asset managers, CEO positioning, and crisis communications.
